About Nora
Nora Eschenheimer is an award-winning actor based out of Rhode Island, Boston, and NYC.
She has been nominated twice by the Boston Theater Critics Association (Elliot Norton Awards) for outstanding lead performance in a large theater for her work as Rosalind in As You Like It (2026) and Imogen in Cymbeline (2020) with Commonwealth Shakespeare Company.
From playing many of Shakespeare's strongest female leads, to creating a one-of-a-kind traveling relief theatre, and hiking over 600-miles across Spain on the Camino de Santiago, Nora's adventurous spirit has not only taken her around the globe, but has allowed her to gain invaluable life experiences. With a passion for human connection at her core, she is always excited to discover where the next project will lead her.
Nora holds a100-ton master captain's license and is the proud captain of the 58ft classic motor yacht, Rum Runner II. She is also a captain and lighthouse keeper for the Rose Island Lighthouse and Fort Hamilton Trust.
She is currently starring as Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at the Gamm Theatre (closing June 21st) and will be playing Hippolyta/Titania on the Boston Common in this summer's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream with Commonwealth Shakespeare Company.
